Search engine advertising, short
SEA
is a part of search engine marketing and includes all advertisements that can be seen in search engines such as Google and Co. The ads can be placed on specific search terms, called keywords, or location-based, and they vary greatly in price depending on demand. Billing is often done by cost per click (CPC), which means that the customer only pays when users of the search engine actually click on the ad.
