Shopify offers different pricing plans depending on the needs and size of your business:
- Basic plan: €36/month or €27/month with annual payment, ideal for e-commerce beginners.
- Shopify plan: €105/month or €79/month with annual payment, suitable for small businesses.
- Advanced plan: €384/month or €289/month with annual payment, for growing businesses
- Plus plan: from 2300 USD/month with a 3-year term, aimed at larger companies and corporations.
In addition to the monthly fees, there are transaction costs when using external payment providers and credit card fees that vary depending on the plan selected. Further costs may arise from the purchase of themes, additional POS Pro locations, the selection of necessary third-party apps or additional functions. A realistic timeframe for setting up a Shopify shop - from planning to launch - is often between 2 and 6 months. This period allows sufficient time for:

Compared to the standard Shopify versions, Shopify+ features B2B specialisation, advanced customisation options, automation capabilities, access to exclusive apps, robust integrations, wholesale functionality and the ability to manage up to 10 storefronts. These features, along with enhanced support, make Shopify+ ideal for companies with specific needs looking for extensive scalability and advanced support for their business processes.
Shopify+ plan allows you to create an unlimited number of online shops, but only one brand is permitted per contract. If you have multiple brands within the same company, a separate Shopify contract is required for each brand. The monthly fee covers your main shop and 9 extension shops. Each additional shop will incur an additional cost of $250 per month, or a revenue share will apply to all shops.
Shopify shops are hosted by Shopify itself. Shopify takes care of the hosting to ensure that the shops have a reliable infrastructure that guarantees scalability and security. This allows companies to focus on their business and growth without having to worry about the technical details of hosting.
