REQUIREMENTS ANALYLIS
Eco Terra selected Pimcore as the future solution for their data management. As an integration partner, we began the requirements analysis phase together with Eco Terra. During this phase, the requirements and processes were discussed and Eco Terra's existing product data structure, which originated from source systems such as Excel and the ERP system, was analysed in detail. A key requirement was to replace Excel and combine the product data from the ERP system with the image data. For the data import, it was necessary that the data could be processed and provided in the system at Eco Terra. In addition, a naming convention for the images was defined as a requirement in order to enable problem-free assignment during playout. During the requirements phase, Eco Terra had already formulated clear ideas, which we evaluated and refined through our consulting services.

In addition to the interfaces to the existing source systems, a key aspect was to make product images available to customers and external databases via a web link. For this purpose, we programmed a middleware that takes over the control of the externally available images. The previously defined naming convention was crucial for checking and assigning images without any problems. With regard to Pimcore, we developed the backend and extended the code to enable a user-friendly data view and make the work more intuitive for users.
