CENTRALISED COMPLEX PRODUCT DATA MANAGEMENT
GENERAL
Based on the Pimcore Enterprise Edition, a platform for data management was developed to meet the complex requirements of the association group. It was important to build the first solution in an MVP approach in order to gain initial user experience as quickly as possible.
Pimcore serves as the single point of truth for importing, processing and exporting the data. The flexible data transport is mapped via Blackbit Data Director. The import of supplier data is done via an automated connection. The preparation of data is implemented by the workflow concept. By merging several data and information sources, the GARANT Group now centrally accesses a maximum information density.
The data streams are extracted continuously and up-to-date with Pimcore
for a multitude of websites and e-commerce platforms with extensive product presentation including videos and configurator.

PIMCORE PRODUCT EXPERIENCE PORTAL
In order to provide the 1,800 GARANT partners with a comprehensive and high-performance tool for product research, the Pimcore Product Experience Portal was implemented to map a digital product catalog.
Via the digital product catalog, data is optimally derived and offers dealers price lists, design variants, image and video material and much more for research, but also for joint use with the end customer at the PoS in sales talks. The GARANT Group benefits from an improved product experience for customers through the extended data model.
